| After having Highstream service for a couple of months, I noticed that I wasn't receiving emails from certain people. I called technical support, and was told that while they didn't know what the problem was, it might be that the people sending me emails had been flagged by their spam filter. They told me that some one would call me back to solve the problem.
No one did.
I called back three times, asking for a higher level technical support person capable of diagnosing and solving the problem. Each time, Highstream refused to transfer me to another tech support person, refused to transfer me to a manager, and told me that someone would call me back.
No one ever did.
I wrote five emails, to addresses given by the tech support people, explaining my problem and asking that it be solved.
No one ever responded.
In desperation, I even called the sales line, hoping to find a customer oriented manager capable of getting this problem fixed. The initial sales person refused to transfer me to a manager, refused to transfer me to tech support, and told me that someone would return my call.
No one ever did.
So now I cannot receive emails from certain senders, and certain other senders don't receive my emails. I don't know why, and the problem is not going to be resolved. Obviously, I cancelled my service.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They have lousy service and lousy support. There are better options for your money.
